An HR strategy that’s part of sustainable development:
EURO CRM’s human resources policy respects basic social policy principles by taking into account workforce diversity, the context as well as specifics related to the host country. Because employees and their representatives should have a privileged place in the company, EURO CRM systematically seeks to develop social relations at all of their sites, both in France and abroad.
The ethical bases of our HR policy are founded on the following commitments:- Guaranteeing freedom of association and the right to negotiate collectively, which is manifested in the body of personnel representatives.
- Respecting equal opportunity for everyone in hiring, professional mobility and internal promotion. As an example of that, 80% of managers are found through internal promotion and intra-company mobility,
- Organising our training policy to include a "sustainable development" section in all initial training sessions,
- Promoting male/female parity in job positions,
- Promoting and encouraging recruitment of handicapped personnel, to date 4% of employees,
- Supporting recruitment with permanent contracts, which 75% of our employees currently have,
- Developing partnerships to promote employment of people in difficulty (young people, seniors, long-term unemployment) and assist these employees as part of the Path to Employment programme,
- Covering the total cost of transport for our employees
- A welfare policy that goes beyond the legal requirements on Mauritius
- A series of social actions with local organisations.
We pay particular attention to integrating handicapped workers:
In 2006, EURO CRM signed an agreement with ARACT and other organisations concerning integrating handicapped workers.
- Partnerships and other measures to encourage recruiting of handicapped employees,
- "Job dating", visits to our sites (to better understand the job), on-the-job evaluation (traineeship), participation in the Handi Café forum
- A human resources assistant especially to take care of these projects,
- Training for some supervisors in integrating handicapped workers
